Barcelona have struggled this season after winning the title last term and they currently sit nine points behind shock league leaders Girona after 17 games.

Xavi’s side have won just one of their last four La Liga games and need to turn things around before Real Madrid and Girona pull away.

Almeria stayed up narrowly last season but have a big task on their hands repeating the feat this term, they sit bottom of La Liga after taking just five points from their first 17 games.

The strugglers are the only team in the division yet to win a game and are already nine points from safety. Almeria have been in decent goalscoring form recently however, and both teams have found the net in five of their last seven away games.

Back Barcelona to win a game in which both teams score, with the visitors’ defensive issues expected to be the difference.
