Barcelona vs Mallorca Predictions

There is the potential for a goalfest when Barcelona host Mallorca at Estadi Olimpic on Saturday. Back over 3.5 goals – Barcelona have scored in 48 of their last 50 league games.

They are top of the league, with 18 wins from their 22 games this season, while Mallorca are 14th having won six and lost ten.

Barcelona have been winners in 16 of their last 19 Primera Liga games and have won 18 of their last 20 at home. In contrast, Mallorca have only won on one of their last ten road trips.

There have been four or more goals in 11 of Barcelona’s 22 Primera Liga games this season, and no team has had more games with over 3.5 goals than Barcelona. Five of their ten home games have gone over 3.5 goals.

The visitors have been poor defensively this season. Only three other teams in the Primera Liga have shipped more goals than the 34 that Mallorca have conceded, and they have failed to keep their opponents at bay in seven straight games.

A 3-1 home win for Barcelona is an appealing correct-score option. Having won their last ten home games in the league, ten of Barcelona’s 18 victories this season have been by two goals.
