West Bromwich Albion Draw No Bet

Reason for tip

West Brom are unbeaten in their last four Championship away trips and beat Preston 4-0 last time on the road. Birmingham, meanwhile, have failed to win their last five league games and have registered just two goals during that run.

West Bromwich Albion 1-0

Reason for tip

Birmingham are struggling to score goals and may not be able to breach a Baggies defence that has kept three clean sheets in their last four Championship games. But the Blues don’t concede many either, having not shipped more than once in any of their four home league games this term.

John Swift To Score Anytime

Reason for tip

Midfielder John Swift has scored four goals in his last eight league games and takes penalties for West Brom. He was at the heart of most of Albion’s counter-attacks last Saturday in a 4-0 win at Preston.

Baggies can upset streaky Blues

Birmingham are a streaky side and their form has taken a turn for the worse ahead of Friday’s West Midlands derby clash at St Andrew’s.

A run of two draws and three Championship defeats prior to Tuesday’s visit of Huddersfield has seen John Eustace’s side slip to mid-table.

The Blues were scoring goals in August, but a return of just two strikes in that five-game winless sequence means confidence has been lowered and their defending has come under more pressure.

Corberan’s charges are dangerous on the counter

Albion are not the sort of team to be playing at this point in time as Carlos Corberan’s men arrive on the back of a four-game undefeated run on the road.

They demolished previously unbeaten Preston 4-0 at Deepdale last weekend with a stunning display of clinical, counter-attacking football and should exploit any spaces behind Birmingham’s backline.

The hosts have been pretty solid at St Andrew’s and when they do lose there it is usually only by one goal, so taking the visitors Draw no Bet looks like a worthy option.
