Bologna to hurt Juve again

Bologna can be backed to beat an out-of-form Juventus at home in Serie A on Sunday.

Bologna are two places above Juventus in the table, with both teams having won more games than they’ve lost this season. Bologna are fifth with seven wins and three defeats, while Juventus are seventh with six wins and three losses. This season, 20 (59%) of the 34 games between teams in the top half of Serie A have been home wins.

Bologna are in attacking form, having scored two goals or more in eight of their 14 Serie A games this season. They have also found the net in ten of their last 11 league matches, including a 3-0 win over Udinese last month.

Bologna have been impressive defensively at home this season, conceding just four goals in six Serie A games – an average of 0.67 goals per game. In contrast, Juventus are on a run of six away days without recording a shutout.

Bologna have only lost one of their last seven Serie A head-to-heads with Juventus.

Bologna may be able to edge out Juventus in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Both teams have scored in eight of Juventus’ 14 Serie A games this season and they lost 2-1 to Napoli in their last league game.
