The return of Rose

Daniel Farke has overseen a respectable yet uninspired start to Borussia Monchengladbach’s league season (W2, D3, L1). The most notable result therein was a 1-1 draw with ten-time consecutive champions Bayern Munich, suggesting that the Foals have it in them to at least penetrate any backline in this division.

Former Foals boss Marco Rose makes his return to Gladbach as the manager of RB Leipzig, he has endured a mixed start to his tenure (W1, L1) and will be looking to do better than the 1-0 defeat he suffered in his last ‘homecoming’ fixture as the manager of Borussia Dortmund.

Leipzig are without a goal in back-to-back away games, yet Rose should be able to gee his side up to end that rotten run here at Borussia Park, especially seeing as both teams found the net in six of the last seven H2H encounters.
