Bradford vs Exeter City Predictions
- Both teams have scored in Bradford’s last four home fixtures
- Exeter are on a run of both teams netting in 11 of their last 13 away games
- The Bantams have drawn eight of their 14 league games at Valley Parade
Inconsistency letting Bradford down
Bradford still sit within reach of the League Two play-off places, but they could be much higher up the table if they could put games to bed.
Instead, they have won only four times at Valley Parade, largely thanks to their problems in defence, with the Bantams keeping just one clean sheet in their last ten outings on home soil.
Both teams have scored in each of those nine games, so they have no problems at the other end of the field, but they have issues winning back to back games – something they have not done in the league since August.
Exeter in form at last
After a tricky six game winless run from mid November to early January, Exeter are now unbeaten in five, picking up four victories in the process, and have moved to within four points of the top three.
The Grecians have scored in 11 of their last 12 away matches in the league, but they are a little bit fragile at the back, keeping four clean sheets in their 14 games on their travels.
Indeed, both teams have netted in eight of their last ten, with only Sutton, Colchester and Leyton Orient able to defeat them away from St James’ Park.
Everything points towards both teams scoring in this match, so that is my initial prediction, but I think they could cancel each other out, selecting a 1-1 draw as a correct score prediction.
