Lille to claim the points

Lille are on a winning run away from home and can get another victory at Brest on Saturday. Lille have won their last two Ligue 1 games on the road and can make it three in a row at Stade Francis Le Ble.

They are four places above Brest in the table, but both teams have won more games than they have lost this season.

Lille have conceded an average of one goal per game on their travels this season, with 16 goals conceded from their 16 away games.

The visitors are in fine fettle. Lille have won four of their last six Ligue 1 matches, leading at half-time in each of those victories, and are unbeaten in seven of the last eight meetings with Brest.

Brest have been in patchy form recently, with three wins, one draw and two defeats in their last six Ligue 1 games. The victories came against bottom club Montpellier, third-placed Monaco and Toulouse, but that run also included a demoralising 4-1 defeat by Marseille.

It would be no surprise to see Lille score, having netted at least twice in three of their last four Ligue 1 games.

Six of the last eight Ligue 1 meetings between these sides have stayed under 2.5 goals and a 1-0 win for Lille looks like a decent correct score option.
