Lille are the bet away at Brest on Sunday. Bruno Genesio’s side travel to Stade Francis-Le Ble to face Eric Roy’s outfit and can get the win.

Brest finished ninth last season, winning 15 games and losing 14, while Lille were fifth, with a record of 17 wins and eight defeats.

Lille produced a strong finish to the 2024/25 campaign, winning four of their last six games, while they are unbeaten in their last eight Ligue 1 opening matches.

Brest, meanwhile, were inconsistent at the end of the campaign. They did beat Lille 2-0 in this fixture in their penultimate outing, but they also suffered a 4-1 hammering at Marseille and a final-round 6-0 loss at Nice.

A 2-1 victory for Lille looks a decent correct-score bet. There have been three goals or more in Brest’s last three Ligue 1 openers, and Lille were 2-1 winners against Reims in their most recent league game.
