Charleroi well-equipped to bounce back

It is unlikely that the disappointment of their Conference League exit has lifted at Charleroi, a few days after they were beaten in extra-time by Swedish outfit Hammarby, but they should be able to lift themselves to claim a first victory of the new Belgian season when they entertain Sint-Truidense on Sunday.

Charleroi have lost just one of their last 14 matches and while their opening 2-2 draw at Leuven may look like a modest result, they did score twice in injury-time to earn a draw and that should have ensured they left in high spirits.

They should be anxious to make up for their midweek exit and look strong candidates to collect three points on Sunday.

They have also won on just one of their last 16 visits to Charleroi.
