This could be an intriguing match between two of the strongest teams on the continent but having said that anyone looking for a goal-fest may be wise to look elsewhere. Both teams are built on solid foundations and favour efficiency over flamboyance and their methods have brought both clubs success in recent times.

Corinthians were crowned Brazilian Champions for the 6th time last year and when they won their 5th crown in 2011 they followed that up with a Copa Libertadores win the following year. They only lost once on the road in the Copa Sudamericana last year but did struggle to score goals against the better sides and their final 3 games in that competition all finished 0-0.
