Cyprus’ style has led to some heavy defeats

Norway need to beat Cyprus to keep their faint Euro 2024 qualification hopes alive and Stale Solbakken’s team should be able to do that with ease in Larnaca on Thursday.

While Norway have had their troubles in Group A, their problems are minor compared to the hosts.

Cyprus have lost all five of their matches so far, scoring only two goals and conceding 17. Coach Temur Ketsbaia has tried to take them forward with a more attacking style, but that has resulted in regular beatings by wide margins.
