Deportivo La Coruna vs Granada Predictions
The Galicians are the division’s draw specialists having drawn an astonishing 14 of their 25 games this season. No side outside the top four has lost fewer games but no side above the bottom 3 has won fewer games than Deportivo this season. They haven’t won any of their last 11 matches since a 2-0 win over Eibar before Christmas and were beaten 1-0 at Espanyol last weekend.
Granada are propping up the table after 4 consecutive defeats. They have had tough games though and they managed to restrict Villarreal, Real Madrid and Valencia to 1 goal victories so they could very well push Depor close here. This is a crunch week for Granada you feel with games against fellow strugglers Sporting Gijon and Real Betis still to come and they will need to win at least one to pull themselves back towards the sides above them.
Reason for Betting Tips
Deportivo are odds on to win this but given they haven’t won in over 2 months and have only 3 home wins all season that doesn’t really appeal. Granada may not be a great side but nor are they hopeless and they do have plenty of experience of successful relegation battles so they won’t be giving up just yet and they have a good record against Depor. Therefore backing a 1-1 draw at 11/2 might be the wise move here.
