Derby vs Blackburn Rovers Predictions

Derby should be backed to beat Blackburn at home in the Championship on Saturday. The visitors have lost three of their last four away games and could be heading for another defeat here.

They are nine places above Blackburn in the table, with a ten-point gap between the two sides. The hosts are 11th with 13 wins, nine draws and 12 losses, while Blackburn are 20th with ten wins, eight draws and 16 defeats.

The visitors have been leaking goals of late, with Blackburn failing to keep a clean sheet in their last four Championship away games and in nine of their last 11 matches overall.

A narrow 1-0 win for Derby looks the most likely outcome. Nine of their 13 Championship victories this season have been by one goal and, with 20 of Blackburn’s 34 matches going under 2.5 goals, a tight, low-scoring game is on the cards.
