Leicester City vs Norwich Predictions

Norwich have scored at least twice in six of their last eight Championship games, and both teams to score has landed in a number of Leicester’s latest outings. That looks the best bet when they meet at the King Power Stadium on Saturday.

Norwich are five places above Leicester in the table, but both teams have lost more games than they’ve won this season. The hosts are 22nd with ten wins and 14 defeats, while the visitors are 17th having won 12 and lost 16.

Norwich are in better form than Leicester. The visitors have been winners in six of their last eight Championship games, while Leicester have been beaten in their last three home matches. Norwich were 3-0 winners over Oxford in their last away game two weeks ago.

Leicester drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough in their last Championship outing, with Caleb Okoli opening the scoring in the 18th minute. They have avoided defeat in ten of the 13 games this season in which they have opened the scoring (77%).

Both teams have scored in 27 of Leicester’s 34 Championship matches this season, and no team has played more games in the competition in which both sides have found the net. Backing both teams to score has been a winning bet in 18 of Leicester’s last 20 league games.

Goals have proved easy to come by for Norwich lately, with the visitors scoring an average of 2.60 goals a game in their five Championship away games against teams in the bottom six this season. They have scored in four games in a row, including a 3-0 win over Oxford two weeks ago.

Leicester may be able to edge out Norwich in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. No team has played more Championship matches with three goals or more than Leicester this season, and of their ten wins, five were by a 2-1 scoreline. Norwich have been 2-1 losers five times in the league.
