It’s been a miserable start for the hosts

Dundee United find themselves rooted to the bottom of the table having picked up just two points from their opening eight league games. They’re conceding an average of nearly three goals per game and that goes up to nearly four goals per game on home soil have conceded 15 goals across their four home matches so far this term. They’ve also scored just once in that time and it seems unlikely that they’ll cause an upset here.

The visitors have had a relatively good start to the new campaign and are just two points adrift of third place in the table. Their last away outing saw them emerge as 3-1 victors over Hibernian and now they’ll be looking to add another away win to their tally.

Goals are the way to go
