Exeter City vs Burton Albion Predictions

Goals could be at a premium when Exeter host Burton at St James Park on Saturday, and under 2.5 goals looks the best bet. Five of the last six League One meetings between these sides have finished with under 2.5 goals and eight of Exeter’s last ten matches have ended with under 2.5 goals.

Burton are 12th in League One, eight places above Exeter, with six wins, four draws and six defeats from their 16 games. The hosts have won five, drawn two and lost nine.

Exeter have recorded three victories in the last four League One head-to-heads, but they have been in patchy form recently, with two wins, two draws and two defeats in their last six games. Burton, on the other hand, are on a good run, having won four of their last six matches.

It could be hard to separate these two sides, with the 1-1 draw looking a decent correct-score bet. Two of Exeter’s last three League One home games have ended 1-1 and no side in the division has played more games with under 2.5 goals this season than Exeter’s 11.
