Copenhagen and Braga meet in the opening round of Conference League games on Thursday and both of these teams will feel capable of launching a title challenge.

Braga reached the last four of the Europa League last term, while Copenhagen picked up eight points in the Champions League league phase – missing out on a knockout tie by just one point.

This should be a close game but home advantage gives Copenhagen a clear edge. They have a perfect seven wins in as many games at their Parken Stadium base this season, and have 11 wins in their last 12 here going back to last season.

The Danish club picked up a respectable five points in four home games in the UCL last season, losing only to Borussia Dortmund, and they face a Braga side who are yet to hit form on the road.

Braga have won just one of their last five trips, including a pair of goalless games in Conference League qualifying in Belarus and Austria, so in-form Copenhagen look capable of grinding out a win.

Braga are solid at the back and they tend to be involved in low scoring games. The visitors have only conceded more than once in three of their 13 games this season across all competitions so a 1-0 win for Copenhagen seems a reasonable score prediction.
