FC Copenhagen vs Sevilla Predictions
- There have been three or more goals in nine of Copenhagen’s last 11 outings
- Five of Sevilla’s six outings have contained at least three goals
- Sevilla have only lost one of their last 10 Champions League away fixtures
Can Copenhagen bounce back?
It’s now two defeats in a row for FC Copenhagen, who followed up a 3-0 hammering to Borussia Dortmund in their opening Champions League group game by losing 2-1 to OB at the weekend.
Jess Thorup’s side have now seen three or more goals in nine of their last 11 outings, of which three were on home soil.
They are fairly prolific in front of goal, scoring in all bar two of their 11 fixtures, but do tend to struggle in this competition, winning just two of their last six home group games.
Have Sevilla found form at last?
Sevilla beat Espanyol 3-2 at the weekend, and that might finally be the kick-start their season needed after a dreadful run of five games without a win, four of which ended in defeat.
Julen Lopetegui’s side are yet to keep a clean sheet, while there have been three or more goals in five of their six matches, including all three of their outings away from home.
They are generally strong on the road in this competition though, losing just one of their last 10 Champions League away games, with three of the most recent half a dozen containing three or more goals.
I predict that there will be three or more goals in this game, but I also think Sevilla could make it back-to-back wins, with 2-1 to the visitors my correct score prediction.
