FC Porto vs AC Milan Predictions
- Porto have lost their last two home games in the Champions League.
- Milan have six wins in their last eight away games, with one win and one draw.
- The Rossoneri are yet to pick up any points, but did take the lead against both Liverpool and Atletico Madrid earlier in the competition.
Porto and Milan in battle for third spot
Porto and AC Milan already look to be battling out for the consolation prize that is the Europa League spot after two rounds of fixtures in the Champions League group stages.
Milan are pointless after defeats to Atletico Madrid and Liverpool in Group B, while Porto have one point on the board having managed a 0-0 draw in Madrid.
The Portuguese side were thrashed 5-1 by Liverpool in their last European game though, and the Rossoneri may well be able to come away with all three points on Tuesday.
The Italian outfit may be pointless but they have still managed to impress in their two games so far. The San Siro outfit gave Liverpool a game at Anfield as they took a 2-1 lead before ultimately going down 3-2, while they also led 1-0 against Atleti in Italy but two conceded two late goals after playing most of the match with 10 men.
Porto do boast an impressive home record domestically but have lost their last two European games at the Estadio do Dragao and Milan have looked strong on their travels this season. The loss at Anfield is their only away defeat in five games this season and they have six wins in their last eight on the road stretching back into last term.
A win for Milan looks the best option for my main bet here, and a 2-1 win for the visitors appeals in the correct score market. The visitors have gone four games without a clean sheet and Porto have only failed to score in one of their last 13 home fixtures.
