Feyenoord vs PSV Predictions

Thrilling top-of-the-table clash in store

Feyenoord have scored at least three goals in three of their last four Eredivisie games, and over 2.5 goals looks like the bet when they host PSV at De Kuip on Sunday.

This is a top-of-the-table clash, with Feyenoord leading the Eredivisie and PSV in second place. The hosts have won eight of their nine games this season, while PSV have seven wins from their nine matches.

Feyenoord have been winners in nine of their last 11 Eredivisie games and have enjoyed five straight successes at home, but PSV have recorded four victories in the last six head-to-heads and are aiming for a fourth straight league win.

Seventeen of PSV’s last 20 Eredivisie matches have gone over 2.5 goals, with the last five all finishing with three or more goals. The league is averaging 3.4 goals a game this season.

Both sides have been struggling defensively of late. Feyenoord have failed to keep a clean sheet in 18 of their last 20 Eredivisie games against PSV, while PSV have gone 16 games without keeping their opponents out.

Both teams have been in attacking form recently. Feyenoord have scored in nine consecutive games, including a 7-0 win over Heracles last weekend, while PSV have scored at least twice in all four of their Eredivisie away games this season and hit Napoli for six in the Champions League.

This should be a thriller and 2-2 looks a lively correct-score runner.
