A solid 2023 is set to continue for Feyenoord

As yet unbeaten in all competitions since the turn of the year (W10, D5), last season’s Conference League finalists Feyenoord should be relatively confident of progressing into the quarter final stage of the Europa League at Shakhtar Donetsk’s expense.

The hosts won 2-1 against Volendam at the weekend to keep their Eredivisie title charge rolling along nicely, although they may face greater resistance against a Shakhtar Donetsk side that they’ve never kept a clean sheet against in three historical H2H encounters (D1, L2).
