Can Fleetwood wrack up a first point?

Fleetwood suffered a 2-1 defeat against newly promoted Port Vale last weekend, meaning both teams have scored in eight of their last nine matches across two seasons.

It was the worst possible start for new manager Scott Brown, whose side led 1-0 early on, but conceded twice before the break.

They have only kept two clean sheets in their last 22 outings, while they failed to keep a clean sheet in either meeting with Plymouth last season, 3-3 and 1-1 draws.

Plymouth meanwhile already have three points on the board thanks to an impressive 1-0 victory over recently relegated Barnsley last weekend.

Steven Schumacher’s side, who let promotion slip away from their grasp late on, handed a debut to new signing Matt Butcher seven days ago and should be a force to contend with again this year.
