Heracles vs Heerenveen Betting Tips

It has been a fantastic start to the season for Heracles. They capped off a set of impressive performances by beating PSV 2-1 on September 19th and then following up that performance by thrashing Vitesse 4-1 in the Dutch Cup.

They’ve scored 16 goals in seven games, winning five of those and even an away defeat to AZ last weekend shouldn’t take anything away from this team’s performances so far in 2015-16. We’re convinced that they’ll be competing in the top half all season long and they should be an entertaining team to watch.

In some ways, Heerenveen were the Heracles of last season, a surprise entertaining package. They’ve struggled to emulate those performances in 2015-16, currently placed 14th in the table and still looking for their first win since beating last place De Graafschap on August 11th.

They’ve lost their attacking edge scoring just seven goals in seven games and conceding nine. They drew 0-0 with Vitesse their last weekend, but their last two away performances haven’t been strong losing 2-0 to NEC and 3-1 to Groningen.

Three Reasons for Betting Tips

1. Heracles form

They have the look of a good side and they’ve got a lot of confidence right now. They’ll score goals and we like their chances of scoring goals against Heerenveen.

2. Heerenveen away form

NEC and Groningen are not as good as Heracles, which makes Heerenveen’a away form a concern. Maybe they end the rut here, but we wouldn’t bet on it.

3. Odds still solid

Considering early season form, we’re still getting very good odds on Heracles, they’re just under even to win against a team that hasn’t beaten anyone, except for a side without a win this season.
