      Burnley to Win

      Reason for tip

Burnley have won their last six consecutive matches, a run which extends to ten wins from their last 11 and Vincent Kompany’s side are expected to secure a safe passage into the fifth round, against an Ipswich side who have won one of their last five in the league.

      Ipswich vs Burnley Predictions

      • Burnley have won ten of their last 11 matches in all competitions
      • Burnley have won their last three consecutive away matches
      • Ipswich last reached the Fifth Round of the FA Cup in 2007

      Rampant Clarets hard to oppose

All conquering, Burnley, have won ten of their last 11 matches in all competitions, with their only defeat in that period coming against Manchester United, in the last 16 of the Carabao Cup.

Vincent Kompany’s side lead the way in the Championship and have opened an 18-point gap on third place. With an automatic promotion place all but sown up, the FA Cup has become somewhat of a free hit for the Clarets, who brushed aside Premier League, Bournemouth, in the last round. Kompany is expected to name a strong starting XI on Saturday, and Burnley are hard to oppose here.

Ipswich have faltered in recent weeks

Some indifferent performances in the league have seen Ipswich surrender ground in the race for promotion in League One. Ipswich have won one of their last five in the league and Kieran McKenna’s side must now turn their attentions to the FA Cup.

The Tractor Boys beat Rotherham in the Third Round but now face a massive step up in class, against a Burnley side who look destined to make an immediate return to the Premier League. It has been 16 years since Ipswich last progressed beyond the Fourth Round in the FA Cup and it looks unlikely that drought will come to an end this season.

Burnley to win in 90 minutes will be the main selection for Saturday’s game, with a 2-1 away victory forming the correct score prediction.
