Juve to look to Europe

Despite sitting second in Serie A, five points clear of fifth, Juventus arguably have more certainty of making the Champions League through the Europa League this term. With their potential 15-point hit still hanging over them, a European trophy would be good insurance in case their punishment knocks them out of the top four.

However, Juve drew 1-1 with Sevilla in the home leg of their semi-final on Thursday and they now face a difficult visit to Spain on Thursday night. It’s hard to see Sunday’s clash with Cremonese taking precedence for the hosts, while the visitors are busy fighting against the drop.

Cremonese can cause problems

The visitors are second-bottom in Serie A, but they’ve taken 16 points from 15 games in the second half of the campaign to keep their survival hopes alive. The visitors head into this game unbeaten in four, while they’ve already scored in visits to both Milan sides, Atalanta and Fiorentina this season.

The visitors have found the net in five of their last six trips, while Juve have managed one clean sheet in eight.
