Hosts can continue fine home form

Diego Martinez’s Las Palmas should be backed to beat Osasuna when they welcome Vicente Moreno’s men to Estadio Gran Canaria in La Liga on Friday evening.

Osasuna are four places above Las Palmas in the table, but the two sides are separated by just four points with the visitors sitting in tenth spot thanks to six wins, eight draws and six losses, while Las Palmas are 14th, having won six and lost ten.

Las Palmas lost 4-1 away to Real Madrid on Sunday in their most recent outing but that was no surprise as they were priced at 14/1 to win at the Bernabeu. They’ll be hopeful of bouncing back against lesser opposition having won three of their last five on their own patch.

Osasuna have been out of sorts lately, with no wins in their last six league games, a run that includes four draws and two defeats. Their most recent away match ended in a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid two weeks ago.

The visitors have also been disappointing in front of goal away from home this season, scoring just five goals in nine games – an average of 0.6 goals a game on the road – and Las Palmas look capable of keeping them quiet again.

Las Palmas to win 3-0 is the correct-score pick. Two of Osasuna’s six league defeats have been by three or more goals.
