Can Levante spring a shock?

With four games left, Levante sit bottom of La Liga, six points from safety and with an absolute mountain to climb to maintain their place among Spain’s elite.

There have been positive signs at home of late, where they have won two of their last five, but Alessio Lisci’s side have kept just one clean sheet over an eight game stretch in which both teams have netted seven times.

They have only lost four times in 11 fixtures at all venues and have shown they know where the back of the net is in scoring in nine of the last 10, but that defence, the worst in the division, remains a huge concern.

Sociedad struggling on the road

It has not been an easy period for Real Sociedad, especially away from home, where Real Betis, Espanyol and Athletic Bilbao are among the teams to beat them over a run of two wins in ten.

Imanol Alguacil’s side are almost impregnable defensively at home, but less so on the road, where they have conceded 25 times in 17 ties, eight of which have seen both teams net.

Usually so strong at the back, they have now kept just the solitary clean sheet in four outings (all venues), as well as just three in 10 fixtures on the road.

I predict that both teams will score in this game, but it is tough to see either side doing enough to win it, so 1-1 is my correct score prediction.
