Lille wobbling

Lille are enjoying a fine campaign, that cannot be denied, though they have had a slight wobble of late. Prior to France’s brief winter break, the side that currently sits 4^th in Ligue 1 was battered by Monaco, conceding five goals on route to an untimely defeat. Christophe Galtier’s men did bounce back to beat lower-level opposition in the Coupe de France on Sunday, but they weren’t overly convincing, as they conceded twice and won by just a single goal.

Not only have they won eight out of ten, but they’re also yet to taste defeat at home, scoring 18 and conceding just five in the process.

All in all, the home efforts of Lille, who’ve conceded in just one of their last five at Stade Pierre-Mauroy, bode well ahead of a match against an Amiens side that has often floundered on the road.

Away-does woes for Amiens
