Lillestrom’s home form a major concern

Lillestrom will hope a 2-0 friendly victory over IFK Goteborg last week is a sign of better things to come, given they lie in the relegation mire in the Eliteserien.

Andreas Georgson’s side head into this round of fixtures just three points above the relegation zone, not helped by a run of two defeats from their last three league outings.

Those reversals have come against Odd (2-1) and Fredrikstad (3-0), the latter of which was at home, where they have worryingly lost four times in five outings, failing to score in three of those defeats.

Can KFUM keep good record going?

That will be good news for KFUM, two points above Lillestrom in the table, as the visitors are one of just two teams in the division yet to lose an away game ahead of this round.

The Oslo based outfit have won three times from five games, including impressive successes at Rosenborg (3-1) and Sarpsborg (1-0).

The question is whether Johannes Moesgaard’s side can extend that form into a sixth outing, and the fact they are unbeaten in four league matches, drawing three and winning one, suggests they will be a tough nut to crack.
