Malmo FF and Both Teams To Score

      Reason for tip

It hasn’t been the ideal title defence for Malmo, who are now ten points off the summit, but they should still prove too strong for lowly Norrkoping. That being said, both teams to score has been a winning bet in five of the visitors’ last seven, and they can net in defeat at Malmo.

      Malmo FF 3-1

      Reason for tip

Even if their defence is broken through, expect a convincing win for Malmo. They have scored 12 goals while winning the last three head-to-heads and netted another eight when winning the previous four, suggesting Norrkoping never know how to cope with the Blue Ones.

Malmo FF vs IFK Norrkoping Predictions

      • Malmo have lost just one of their last ten matches within 90 minutes
      • Both teams have scored in five of Norrkoping’s last seven matches
      • Malmo have won the last seven head-to-heads, scoring 20 goals

Malmo may prove too strong for visitors

Swedish champions Malmo have endured a tricky start to their title defence and are now ten points behind leaders Mjallby.

However, they opened their Champions League qualifying campaign with a win in the week to maintain their upturn in form and they should have too much for lowly Norrkoping at Eleda Stadion on Saturday.

The visitors are sitting 12th in the Allsvenskan, only two points above the relegation playoff spot, and need to pick up some momentum soon to avoid a nervy end to the season. Any improvement is unlikely to arrive this weekend, though.

Norrkoping unlikely to cope with high-scoring hosts

Malmo have lost just one of their last eight league matches and their confidence will be further boosted by an excellent record in this fixture. The Blue Ones have won the last seven head-to-heads, scoring an impressive 20 goals in that run.

Comrades have at least scored in the last three meetings and there is a decent chance they could repeat that feat on Saturday.

Malmo conceded in their victory over Georgian minnows Iberia 1999 on Tuesday and a Norrkoping side in desperate need of points may net in defeat against the champions.
