Les Olympiens set to struggle

Marseille have been waiting since 2013 to make a return to the Champions League, but so far their reunion with Europe’s elite competition has been a difficult one.

They have lost all three of their matches in Group C and are yet to find the net in the competition, and their struggles could continue on Wednesday as they face a Porto side in fine form.

The visitors sit second in the group after winning two of their three matches, including a 3-0 drubbing of Marseille back in Portugal earlier this month. They have won five of their last six in all competitions and have kept four clean sheets in the process, and we’re predicting another victory here.

Marseille have looked completely out of their depth so far and their back-to-back 3-0 losses to Manchester City and Porto will have damaged morale considerably.
