Wolves can break winless league run against returning Reds

Reigning Superliga champions Midtjylland are yet to taste victory in the Danish top flight this season but that record could be about to change this weekend when they face an Aalborg side returning to the Superliga after a one season absence in the First Division.

The Wolves have enjoyed themselves in the Champions League qualifying stages with home and away wins against UE Santa Coloma in recent weeks, however they have been held to draws in each of their two domestic league fixtures this season – against Aarhus and Nordsjaelland.

Aalborg were put to the sword in their first game back in the top flight in a 3-0 defeat to Nordsjaelland however they bounced back with a 2-1 victory over Silkeborg in their first home league fixture of the campaign.

Their record on the road has been suspect over recent competitive fixtures with four losses from their last five while Midtjylland have lost just one of their last eight home matches in all competitions. The reigning champions will be expected to make home advantage count and, after scoring exactly three goals in three of their last six at home, a 3-0 win looks appealing in the correct score market.
