• Both teams have scored in eight of Blackburn’s last ten Championship away matches
• Rovers have drawn five of their last six Championship games
• Millwall have won just two of their last seven home league matches

It is all in Millwall’s hands

Having to win their final game at home to reach the Championship playoffs would have been a situation that Millwall would have gladly accepted at the start of the season, but they have not used their home dominance to good effect during the closing weeks of the campaign.

Gary Rowett’s team have collected four wins from their last 13 Championship games at The Den, so that makes it difficult to have complete faith in the Lions’ ability to book their top-six berth.

Not scoring in three of their last four home outings is another worrying statistic for their followers, but they should be able to put that right, with both teams scoring in this one.

Rovers are the draw specialists

Blackburn have to win to have any chance of making the playoffs, and even then it will depend on what happens to West Brom and Sunderland.

But they only have themselves to blame as they have failed to get over the line in far too many games lately. 

They have failed to win any of their last eight games and it would not be a surprise if they added to the five draws they have earned in that run, with 1-1 perhaps a good correct-score shout.
