Millwall vs Ipswich Predictions

Ipswich are the best bet to beat Millwall at The Den on Friday.

They are three places above Millwall in the table but both teams have won more games than they’ve lost this season. Millwall, sixth, have won ten and lost seven of their 22 games, while Ipswich, third, have ten wins and five defeats.

Ipswich kept up their recent winning trend with a 3-1 home win over Sheffield Wednesday last weekend. They have won seven of the 12 matches in which they have been odds-on this season.

Millwall are out of form, having gone three Championship games without recording a victory, and their last two matches have ended in defeat.

The hosts’ defence has been a cause for concern. Millwall have failed to keep a clean sheet in eight of their last ten Championship games.

The visitors look better going forward. Millwall have scored 13 goals at home this season in the Championship, but Ipswich have scored in seven consecutive league games and have found the net in 17 of their last 19.

Four of the last six of Millwall’s Championship games have gone under 2.5 goals, and a 1-0 away win for Ipswich looks like a decent correct-score bet.
