- The Den
- Millwall have failed to score more than once in each of their last 10 Championship home games.
- Under 2.5 goals have been scored in six of Sheffield Wednesday’s last eight league games.
- The last four meetings between these two sides have yielded a total of just one goal.
Stalemate on the cards at The Den
No team in the Championship has won fewer games at home this season than Millwall, with Gary Rowett’s side having triumphed only once in 13 matches at The Den.
However, nine of those matches have ended all-square, including four of their last five, with their most recent two home games finishing goalless.
Those 0-0 draws highlight another of Millwall’s issues, as they have failed to score more than once in each of their last 10 home games in the division.
Goals have also been an issue for Sheffield Wednesday this season, as only Derby have scored fewer in the Championship than the Owls total of 18.
Caretaker boss Neil Thompson has seen an upturn in form since taking over on a temporary basis, as he has won four of this five league games at the helm.
Despite that, Wednesday have still only won one of their last 10 away games in the Championship, while they are without a win in their previous four meetings with Millwall.
Indeed, the two teams have scored just one goal between them in those last four meetings, so we are predicting under 2.5 goals on Saturday.
We are also predicting the match to finish 0-0, which would be the fourth time that has happened in the last five meetings between the two sides, while it would also be Millwall’s third-consecutive goalless draw on home soil.
