Mjondalen vs Haugesund Predictions

• Mjondalen have drawn three of their four home games in the Eliteserian.
• Haugesund are yet to win on their travels (D2, L2).
• Mjondalen have scored one goal in each of their last four games and two of those have finished 1-1.

Mjondalen a tough nut to crack at home

Mjondalen have had a difficult start to the season and sit in 14th spot in Norway’s Eliteserian ahead of the visit of an improving Haugesund on Saturday.

The hosts have just seven points to show from nine games so far and are winless in their last eight after kicking off the new campaign with a victory at Sandefjord.

Huagesund made a slow start to the season but have hit some form of late with four wins in their last six games, with one draw and one defeat.  

However, all of that success has come at home and on their travels they have been less impressive with two points from four games so far.

Mjondalen are yet to win at home but they have only lost once in four games at the Consto Arena.  

Haugesund have the best defensive record in the division with just six goals conceded in 9 games, while Mjondalen have only conceded 11 goals – fewer than any other team in the bottom seven.

Haugesund are a much stronger side at home and four of the goals they’ve conceded have come in their four away games, while they have scored just once themselves.

Taking all that into account we’re expecting a fairly cagey affair in Mjondalen and the spoils may well be shared.  Two of Mjondalen’s home games have finished 1-1 this season and that looks a solid option in the correct score market.
