Monaco can add to Lyon woes

Interim Lyon boss Pierre Sage claimed a first win since taking at the third attempt last time out but his side will find it hard to back that up at high-flying Monaco on Friday.

Monaco sit third in the standings, six points adrift of leaders PSG, and their home form has been near perfect – with six wins in seven games, losing once.

Lyon overcame Toulouse 3-0 last time out to end a three-game losing sequence but they remain bottom of the table.

Les Gones struggling on the road

Lyon have lost five of their seven Ligue 1 away games (W1, D1) and they also lost their last two games against Monaco as the visiting side.

Les Rogue et Blanc have won their last four at the Stade Louis II, scoring nine goals and conceding just three, and they can make home advantage count on Friday.

A home win is the obvious choice for our main bet, and a 2-0 win appeals in the correct score market.
