Bournemouth had a much more successful midweek Premier League fixture, with an impressive 2-0 win over Southampton taking them eight points clear of the relegation zone with ten games left to play.

This followed on from another impressive performance away at Watford as they held off Ighalo and Deeney throughout the goalless draw. It looks like the Cherries are getting back to form again, and they will definitely be buoyed by the continued return of Max Gradel from his serious knee injury.

Away from home Bournemouth are undefeated in six matches in all competitions, with three of these games ending in victory for the Championship winners. I definitely think that Bournemouth will get something from this match, and considering their improved defence and Newcastle’s shoddy back line I think that a win could be on the cards.
