      Osasuna to Win

      Reason for tip

Osasuna look a strong bet to beat Valencia at home on Sunday. They won their last four home games of last season and were the most profitable side in the Primera Liga on home soil, while Valencia ended last term with just one point from their final three matches.

      Osasuna 2-1

      Reason for tip

A 2-1 home victory appeals in the correct-score market. Osasuna have scored in each of their last nine league games and eight of their 12 wins last season came by a single goal, while Valencia have conceded in 14 successive away fixtures.

      Osasuna vs Valencia Predictions

Osasuna are good value for victory

Osasuna finished last season on a run of four straight home wins and should be backed to beat Valencia at home on Sunday.

Osasuna finished eighth last season, three places above Valencia. Osasuna achieved 52 points from their 12 wins and ten losses, while Valencia ended the campaign with 46 points from their 11 wins and 14 defeats.

The hosts started the new campaign with a respectable 1-0 defeat at Real Madrid, while their visitors were held to a 1-1 home draw by Real Sociedad.

Despite failing to get off the mark at the Bernabeu, Osasuna will fancy their chances of scoring here having found the net in their last nine league games of the 2024-25 season, scoring at least twice in five of those.

They were the most profitable home team in the Primera Liga last season, showing a profit of 9.27 units.

Valencia improved following the appointment of Carlos Corberan, but finished last term with just one point from their final three matches.

Los Che’s defence is a concern. They have conceded on each of their last 14 Primera Liga road trips.

Osasuna may be able to edge out Valencia in a close game, with a 2-1 home win the correct-score pick. Both teams had scored by the break the last time these two met in the Primera Liga in March, and eight of Osasuna’s 12 victories last season were by a single goal.
