Lazio to record crucial away win

Lazio have not been at their best on their travels this season but they will not get many better opportunities to win a Serie A road trip than when they visit Parma on Saturday.

The hosts have only won one of their last seven home games and are the lowest scorers in what has been a historically low-scoring Serie A season.

Carlos Cuesta’s men have netted just ten times in 14 matches and look unlikely to pick up just a fourth win of the season.

Lazio beat Milan in the Coppa Italia recently and have been very tough to beat after losing three of their opening four games. Since then, the Biancocelesti have only lost twice in 11 games and that was to both Milan clubs.

They have been rock solid at the back, only Roma have conceded fewer goals than the visitors, and that should be the difference between the two teams in this one.

Three teams have lost seven or more games in the Italian top flight this term but Parma look set to join them in what could be a chastening loss for the home side.

Parma have already lost 2-0 three times this season and in what should be another low-scoring game a repeat of that is fancied.
