      Plymouth Argyle vs Bradford Predictions

Plymouth won 1-0 away at title-chasing Forest Green Rovers in the league last time out, while Bradford lost 2-1 at home against Rochdale in the EFL Trophy but it’s the visitors that sit higher in the table and look more prepared for the promotion challenge as things stand.

All of the stats suggest that a double chance bet in favour of Bradford is the way to go this weekend and we have backed the visitors to claim a narrow 2-1 win.

Bradford have only lost two of their last seven matches against Plymouth and both teams scored and over 2.5 goals were produced in two of the duo’s last four encounters, so you can begin to see why we’ve backed the visitors with a double chance bet this weekend.

The form of both clubs heading into Saturday’s clash only adds weight to our prediction for the visitors to take home at least a point, as Plymouth have only won two of their last six home games in all competitions and Bradford have only lost one of their last six away games in league and cup.

The performances of both teams also provide plenty of reasons to back a 2-1 win for Bradford this weekend, as Plymouth have scored in four of their last six matches and both teams scored in five of Bradford’s last six matches. Plymouth haven’t scored more than one goal in any of their last four matches and 62% of their home games this season have produced over 2.5 goals. Bradford have scored two goals in three of their last six matches and average over one goal per game away from home in League Two this season.

The visitors sit four points above Plymouth and have played one game fewer this season and have so far outplayed this weekends’ hosts in League Two, but there isn’t much between the two clubs and we are expecting a close and competitive ninety minutes this weekend.

We’re confident that a double chance bet on Bradford will payout this weekend and we have predicted a final scoreline of 2-1 in the visitors’ favour. Bradford have been performing well away from home of late while Plymouth have only picked up two wins from their last six home games in league and cup, which is why we believe the visitors will take home at least a point, but more likely all three, this weekend.
