Hoops good form bodes well

Queens Park Rangers made it three Championship win from four games as they got the better of West Brom 3-1 here on Saturday. The Hoops have a good record again Birmingham in the capital and look primed to continue that against a Blues side brushed aside 3-1 at Southampton on Saturday.

Chris Davies’ side have lost six of 10 on the road in the Championship and QPR can record a third straight Loftus Road success.

Little to split playoff chasers

Goal difference alone splits these rivals after 19 games. Both teams have found the net in QPR’s last five at home in the league and in the Blues’ last three on the road.

Those trends can continue now but the visitors’ have lost six of the last nine away from St Andrew’s and may get edged out in west London, where they have lost two of the last three against QPR.
