      QPR vs Rotherham Predictions

It may seem ridiculous to say this in August, but QPR’s game at Molineux in midweek may prove to be a turning point in their season and will at the least provide them with a much needed boost ahead of this game. 2-0 down and being outplayed by the Black Country side, Rangers looked to be on their way to another defeat which would have left them with just 1 point from 3 matches.

However in Charlie Austin and Matty Phillips they have two players who unquestionably possess Premier League quality. Austin got Rangers back into the game before Phillips added an excellent brace and if they are on song again QPR could prove far too hot for Rotherham to handle on Saturday.

There are still doubts about whether either player will be at the club come the end of the month but right now with them in the side and after one or two shrewd signings, QPR look really dangerous going forward.

They are not great at the back but Rotherham don’t really have the quality to seriously trouble them and are living up to their billing as pre-season favourites for the drop. They’ve played two of the newly promoted clubs but have just 1 point from their opening 3 games and this on paper looks to be the toughest of their fixtures so far.
Therefore this really does look like a home banker and QPR aren’t as short as you might imagine with odds of 3/4 currently available.

Rotherham have lost 7 of their last 10 away games and have only won once on the road in the Championship in 2015. After an awful losing run at Loftus Road QPR managed to avoid defeat in their final two Premier League home games and came within minutes of beating an impressive looking Cardiff side last weekend in their only home game so far this season.

The win at Wolves in midweek and especially the comeback nature of it will have given them an enormous lift and they will take great momentum into this game.

QPR are not only going to be the more confident side but they also have much more quality than Rotherham so are likely to dominate the ball and the game. Therefore a comfortable win is likely and you can back them to win 3-0 at 12/1.
