Real Madrid vs Celta Vigo Betting Tips and Predictions 

Real Madrid’s hopes of silverware this season now rest in Europe but with a 2-0 advantage in their last 16 tie with Roma from the 1st Leg in Italy they won’t be sweating too much about Tuesday’s return. They bounced back from their 1-0 Madrid derby defeat last weekend with a 3-1 win at Levante in midweek but it took a 90th minute Isco goal to put some gloss on it and Barcelona’s big win at Rayo means they remain 12 points adrift of their great rivals with 11 games to play. They will most likely be without Bale and certainly Benzema again here and if Celta are at their best, this could be another tough game for Los Blancos.

Celta Vigo seem to have overcome the wobble that was threatening their European challenge. They’ve taken 7 points from their last 3 games with wins coming over Eibar and Getafe prior to a midweek draw against Villarreal. The Galicians are in 6th place and looking very good for a place in the Europa League next season and have been boasted by the return of Nolito who has enjoyed a great season up front alongside Iago Aspas.

They also have a good record against the top clubs in recent times especially away from home. They’ve already won at Villarreal and Sevilla this season in the league and won at Atletico Madrid in the Copa del Rey. They won at the Camp Nou last year too and against an under-strength Real Madrid side that has heavily punished the weaker teams but often struggled against the better sides, backing Celta Vigo +1.5 Asian Handicap at 2.050 might be the way to go.
