Are Sandefjord turning the corner?

Sandefjord recently suffered three successive defeats, but back-to-back draws against Bodo/Glimt (1-1) and KFUM (3-3) may give supporters reason to be hopeful going forward.

Despite picking up two points across those stalemates, the Boys remain bottom of the Eliteserien, so they can ill-afford to lose this clash against a fellow relegation rival.

However, a run of 12 outings without a clean sheet this season inspires little confidence, although they are beginning to find the back of the net, with six of their last seven outings seeing both teams score.

HamKam in trouble too

While the hosts lie rock bottom, things are not much better for opponents HamKam, who are just one point better off after losing successive league fixtures to Brann (2-1) and Viking (3-0).

Now in their third season in the top flight, Jakob Michelsen’s side would probably be happy with avoiding the drop again, but to do that they must tighten up a defence who have gone nine away games without a clean sheet.
