Shakhtar Donetsk vs Genk Predictions

Shakhthar Donetsk managed a 2-1 win in Belgium in the first leg of their Champions League qualifying tie with Genk and they can finish the job with a home win in the return fixture.

Shakhtar were beaten at home by Oleksandriya over the weekend but they perhaps had an eye on this European game and in general are strong at home, with the Donetsk club currently playing their home games at the NSC Olimpiyskiy in Kyiv.

Genk have an impressive away record domestically but in Europe they have struggled.  The Belgian outfit have lost their last seven away qualifiers in the Champions League and we’re expecting them to fall short at Shakhtar, with a 2-0 home win our pick in the correct score market.
