South Korea U23 vs Honduras U23 Predictions

• South Korea thrashed Romania 4-0 in their last fixture.
• Honduras lost to Romania and then twice fought back from behind to beat New Zealand.
• South Korea have nine wins in last 16 games.

South Korea can back up Romania demolition

South Korea and Honduras meet in a tightly packed Group B in the final round of group fixtures at the Olympics on Wednesday.

All four teams have three points after two games in Japan, and chances are one of these two teams will be going home early.

South Korea have the advantage of a superior goal difference and a draw would be enough for them to progress but we feel they have the quality to win this game in 90 minutes.

The South East Asian nation were unlucky to go down 1-0 to New Zealand in their opener but hit their stride with a 4-0 demolition of Romania in their second game.  Honduras somehow lost 1-0 to the Romanians in their opener, before fighting back from a goal down twice to beat the Kiwis 3-2 in their second game.

Honduras will probably feel they need to win this one and that could see them attempt to take the initiative and push for an opener on Wednesday.  South Korea are blessed with some quick forwards and will be dangerous on the counter, while they are equally comfortable being the team doing the pressing themselves and whatever pattern this game takes they should have the quality to finish off the group stages with a win.

We’re backing South Korea to secure their place in the next round with a victory and a 3-0 win for the Taegeuk Warriors has some appeal in the correct score market.  They may have failed to score against New Zealand but they did manage 12 attempts and after putting four past Romania have found some form in front of goal.
