Burkina Faso have conceded just three goals across their last six games, keeping four clean sheets, while Equatorial Guina have scored just two goals across their last five games and have conceded at least twice in three of their last six fixtures. As such, a 2-0 win for the Stallions has a chance.

Hearts striker Pierre Kabore has scored hat-tricks in each of his last two appearances for Burkina Faso, he can open his AFCON account at the first opportunity with an anytime effort against Equatorial Guinea.

Algeria topped their World Cup qualifying pool in style, scoring 24 times in 10 games. They meet a Sudan side that lost four of their final five World Cup qualifiers, failing to score in all five games. With Algeria among the favourites and desperate to end a poor run at AFCON, back them for a routine victory.
