West Ham United to Win and Over 3.5 Match Goals

      Reason for tip

West Ham have found their feet in the Championship after a shaky start and should come through a raucous atmosphere to see off their London rivals in a high-scoring encounter at The Den.

      West Ham United 3-1

      Reason for tip

With Millwall having conceded 13 goals in their last five Championship games, the rampant Hammers strikeforce can have a great day and secure a 3-1 away win.

Millwall vs West Ham United Predictions

      • Burnley are the only team to have conceded more than Millwall’s total of 13 Championship goals this season.
      • West Ham have scored more than once in eight of their ten matches this term.
      • Six of Millwall’s seven Championship games have produced at least three goals.

Hammers have got into their groove

West Ham had a wobbly start to life back in the Championship after allowing a two-goal lead to slip late on at Burnley and they then suffered a 2-1 home defeat to Charlton.

However, Nuno Espirito Santo’s team have more than found their feet since with 16 goals in their last four league outings and they should maintain that in what looks set to be a tasty London derby against Millwall, even though they fell to a 3-2 EFL Cup defeat to Fulham on Tuesday.

It is more than 14 years since the rivals met and the Lions will need to get their act together having failed to build upon opening wins over Bristol City and Norwich.

They have shipped 13 goals in their last five league outings, surrendering a two-goal advantage to draw at Middlesbrough last week, and there are concerns they may not be able to keep a rampant Hammers attack at bay.

It is worth chancing that West Ham will come out on top of a game that generates at least four goals, and a 3-1 away success is suggested to those looking for a correct-score interest.
