      RB Leipzig to Win

      Reason for tip

St. Pauli have picked up the fewest home points in the Bundesliga this season and given RB Leipzig won at another struggling side, Heidenheim, on Saturday, the visitors will be confident of securing back-to-back road successes.

      RB Leipzig 2-0

      Reason for tip

RB Leipzig were 2-0 winners when these sides last met and history can repeat itself on Tuesday, especially considering St. Pauli are the lowest home scorers in the German top flight.

St Pauli vs RB Leipzig Predictions

      • St. Pauli have picked up the fewest home points in the Bundesliga this season
      • The hosts have won only one and lost 11 of their last 15 league fixtures
      • RB Leipzig claimed a first away win since October at Heidenheim on Saturday

Struggling hosts set for more disappointment

St. Pauli’s second season back in the Bundesliga is proving a difficult one, with Alexander Blessin’s side having lost 11 and won only one of their last 15 league games to slip deep into the relegation mire.

Friday’s goalless draw with city rivals Hamburg did bring about a first point of 2026, but St. Pauli continue to struggle, particularly at the Millerntor-Stadion, as their tally of eight points is the fewest any side has picked up on their own patch in the German top flight this season.

Neighbourhood Kickers’ only home win since September was last month’s narrow 2-1 success over Heidenheim – the one team currently below them in the standings – and the likes of Hoffenheim, Borussia Monchengladbach and Union Berlin have all left Millerntor-Stadion with a victory over recent months.

      Leipzig steadying the ship

Leipzig had lost three of their previous four matches heading into Saturday’s trip to Heidenheim, but they claimed a comprehensive 3-0 victory in that game- their first road success since October.

Ole Werner’s side have also won emphatically at Augsburg (6-0) in the league and SV Sandhausen (4-2) and Energie Cottbus (4-1) in the DFB-Pokal this season and will be confident of picking up another success.

The Red Bulls won 2-0 when these two sides last met in February and given St. Pauli are also the Bundesliga’s lowest home scorers, this could end in similar fashion.
