Tip Reasoning

  • Swansea are unbeaten in their last 10 Championship matches on home soil.
  • The Swans have drawn three of their last five league games at the Liberty Stadium.
  • Norwich boast the best away record in the Championship, losing just once on the road.

High-flyers to share Liberty spoils

Swansea have been in impressive form of late, as they are unbeaten in nine matches across all competitions, winning seven of those games.

Steve Cooper’s side boast an even longer unbeaten record when it comes to home matches in the Championship, as they have not lost any of their last 10, although three of their previous five have been drawn.

The Swans are very much in the automatic promotion hunt, but they will head into this game four points behind league leaders Norwich, who also boast the best away record in the division, winning eight of their 12 games on the road.

However, Daniel Farke has seen his side lose two of their last three matches on their travels, as they went down at Watford in the league and Barnsley in the FA Cup.

The Canaries also failed to score in both those defeats, but they represent the only two times they have drawn a blank in their last 11 games on the road.

Swansea have also been regular scorers at home, netting in 10 of their last 12 at the Liberty, so we are predicting both teams to get on the scoresheet on Friday.

Given the Swans have been tough to beat on home soil and Norwich are generally good travellers, we also predict there will be nothing to separate the two teams, with the draw seeming a likely outcome.
